How to create and send an invoice
Three fields and two buttons. Here is the whole flow, exactly as it looks in the product.
1. Pick the client
Open Invoices and choose Create New Invoice. The client field pulls from your existing client book, so if you have already captured them once, you will not type their details again.
2. Enter the amount
Enter what is actually owed. If the order is tied to a project already in the workshop, the amount can come from that project directly, so the invoice matches the work rather than a number typed in twice.
3. Set a due date
A due date is not decoration. It is what the invoice, and later the reminder, actually checks against.
4. Create it
Create Invoice saves it as a draft. Nothing has gone to your client yet. You can still open it and check the amount, the client, the date, before anyone else sees it.
5. Send it
Send Invoice is the step that actually reaches your client. From here, the invoice carries its own payment link, so paying it is the client's next click, not a bank transfer they have to remember to make and you have to remember to check for.
